Eunice Kohara, D.O. grew up in southern California. You may pick up on her relaxed, down-to-earth, warm character as soon as you meet her. She received her medical degree from Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her Ophthalmology Residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital / Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she also served as chief resident. She then continued her education with a Pediatric Ophthalmology fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She is a board-certified Ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical treatment of childhood eye conditions and strabismus in children and adults. Dr. Kohara sees many children with special needs, including Autism, Down syndrome and other genetic disorders.
